Diversity at Universidade de Vigo
The Universidade de Vigo fosters equal opportunities in participation in the university community and values affective-sexual, functional, sociocultural and other forms of diversity as enriching factors in our society.
Affective-sexual and gender diversity
The Diversity Unit organises activities to raise awareness and change society, bolstering the voice of the LGTBIQA+ community of UVigo and facilitating their inclusion in the university community.
Functional diversity
The UVigo has various programmes and tools to achieve complete integration in university life for students with specific needs for educational support.
Psychological Support Programme
The Universidade de Vigo offers a psychological support programme for students experiencing difficulties arising from academic activities, under an agreement between the Galician Health Service and the three Galician universities.
