Equality at UVigo

One of the aims of the Universidade de Vigo is to "contribute to a fair and egalitarian society in which equality between women and men is respected".

To achieve this goal, in 2006, an Equality Unit was created, which is responsible for designing, promoting, implementing, monitoring and evaluating public policies for university equality and any other measure necessary to incorporate the gender perspective in all areas of university life and the university community.
