Transport in Pontevedra

You can get to the campus by several means of transport.

Walking
Apart from the Faculty of Fine Arts and the School of Nursing –in the city centre– you can go walking to the other faculties located in A Xunqueira. The journey takes about 15 minutes.

Cycling
You can use the bike to get to the campus because the city has a wide network of bicycle lanes directly connected to all the faculties and shcools. There are parkings for bicycles next to them. Moreover, there is a bicycle loan service available for members of the university community.

Urban bus
You can also get to the campus using the bus service that connects A Xunqueira with the bus and train stations.

Train
Pontevedra has a train station located on Eduardo Pondal Street that enables the connection to the nearby main towns and cities. It also has a parking located in the vicinity of A Xunqueira.

Coach
The city is connected to the nearby towns and cities thanks to different bus lines departing from the bus station. Some of them get to A Xunqueira Campus.
There is a direct line from Vigo (with several stops in the city) to A Xunqueira stopping in the vicinity of the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Shared car
Remember that you can share a private car. There are applications that make this easier.

Parkings
The city has several  parkings; in A Xunqueira area, for example, as well as in Avenida de Compostela from where there is pedestrian access to the campus campus.
