Incoming teaching staff

UVigo offers the possibility of receiving Researcher Teaching Staff for teaching or training through international mobility programmes within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.

If you are interested in visiting UVigo with an Erasmus+ programme for teaching (STA) or for training (STT), you can be in one of these cases:

1. You already have a contact in our university and the mobility agreement has been prepared and signed by all parties

You can complete the registration form through our online platform.

Submit the completed form before your arrival at UVigo, including the following documents:

  • Copy of ID/passport
  • Copy of the European health card / Copy of the health insurance policy and its coverage
  • Mobility Agreement signed by all parties. The model of this agreement must be provided by the university of origin.
  • Signed letter of invitation (for the Erasmus+ programme KA131)
  • Signed nomination (for the Erasmus+ programme KA171)

Remember to fill out the form when you have all the documentation ready so you can do it in one go.

Then, the International Relations Office (ORI) will send the letter of acceptance to you, to the tutor of your stay and to the international mobility coordinator at UVigo.

When the mobility ends, the person responsible for your stay will send the Certificate of Stay to the ORI to complete your file. This certificate can be signed by the tutor (but always informing the international head of the faculty) or the international head.

2. You do not have any contact at UVigo to organise the activity you have planned

You must contact the general service at UVigo or the faculty/school service you are interested in, contacting the person responsible for international relations. If you reach an agreement, once the Mobility Agreement has been signed, you must follow the application instructions given above in case 1.

Please note that if you intend to teach during your visit, there must be an Erasmus+ KA131 STA agreement between our universities. If there is no agreement in place, your university would need to contact agreements.ori@uvigo.gal to facilitate this.
