Bus
All three cities have urban bus networks with several routes to the university campuses. Students at the Universidade de Vigo obtain major discounts on fares
Getting to the Vigo Campus (As Lagoas, Marcosende)
- From Vigo
Vitrasa is the City of Vigo's bus operator.
All students enrolled at centres or faculties can apply for the PassVigo Universitario card, which gives them a special fare. Apply for the card at any time at https://passvigo.vigo.org/, without the need to visit any office in person.
You can use the Vitrasa website or the Moovit and Vigo App applications to check all the timetables and routes of the lines.

Carsharing
Carsharing or carpooling is when a car driver shares the spare seats in their car during their regular journeys.
There is usually some financial compensation to cover fuel and maintenance costs.
There are several alternatives for managing relationship with passengers, mainly through apps and websites. Some carsharing management options are:

Electric vehicle charging points
Member of the the UVigo university community can use its free recharging points for EVs that are located around the three campuses
Vigo campus

- Car park of Philology and Translation Faculty
Ourense campus
- Roadside pavement of the outdoor car park of the Campus Agua Building

Pontevedra campus
- Car park of the Communication Faculty
All charging points have 22 kW power rating and two outlets.
To use them, you need to activate your university card using the online form at the virtual office.
If you do not have a physical card, you can apply for one from the administrator of the centre saying why you need it.
Vigo Campus circular bus service
Students, teaching and research staff, and PAS can use the circular bus service on the Vigo campus, which leaves from the halls of residence and from the mall.
