Campus Camp

During the summer holidays, children can enjoy the Campus Camp programme.

To promote work-life balance for members of the university community during school holidays, while also introducing children to the university, the Universidade de Vigo offers the ‘Campus Camp’ activity for the Ourense, Pontevedra, and Vigo campuses.

This activity is aimed at the children of members of the university community aged between 3 and 16 during the non-teaching periods in June, July, and September.

Objectives

Interact with children of similar ages, providing them with leisure alternatives that enable socialising and the development of interpersonal relationships.
Take advantage of the unique features of the campus to carry out outdoor activities.
Promote children's knowledge of the university environment through recreational and educational activities.
Encourage group activities through collaboration and cooperative work.
Begin or further develop specific skills in different sports through play.
Unify the possibilities offered by the university to reconcile family and work life during school holidays.
Create a relaxed atmosphere by provoking laughter and fun.
